Kristen & Jeremy's Sneak Peek

Here's a little sneak peek about Kristen and Jeremy, as told by the lovely bride-to-be....


"My sister, and our friend Janelle and I went on a road trip to Las Vegas.  When we stopped in Tonopah for gas, the friendly gas station clerk was talking to Janelle and my sister when I walked up. 

We had told him we were from the Reno/Sparks area and he said he had planned on moving there within the year.  We found out that he too, belonged to the same church. (LDS).  We told him to look us up, so when he moved, he would have friends to show him around and go to church with.  We gave him our names so he could find us on Facebook, which he did that evening. 

A few days later . . . January 5th, 2012 to be exact, he left a video on my wall on Facebook of something we shared nostalgia for (which he saw in my "About Me" section).  Doug, a cartoon from the 90's we both loved.  I commented on the photo, and he commented back, and we haven't stopped talking since.

We visited each other almost every weekend going back and forth from Sparks to Tonopah.  The weekdays in between our visits almost killed us!  He moved here in June so he could find real work, and so we could be closer and our relationship could grow.  He proposed to me on November 26th, 2012, dressed as Doug!  He did it in front of everyone at a church activity, and everyone was in on it!

He says that before he started talking to me, he was struggling, and he had prayed for someone to help him get back into  church, and someone he could love.  He swears that I am the answer to that prayer.  I never thought I would get married.  I thought I had missed my chance.  But God had plans for me-  There's someone for everyone, even if God has to drag you out into the middle of the Nevada desert to find them!!!"

We are so excited to be a part of Kristen and Jeremy's wedding day! We know their wedding day will be so amazing! Their wedding ceremony will be held at the LDS Temple, and their ring ceremony and dinner reception will be held at the Rock Blvd. LDS Church.
