Megan & Dominic~ Sneak Peek

Megan and Dominic will be married this week at the Red Hawk Country Club, a premier location for weddings in Northern Nevada.   Red Hawk offers a variety of romantic indoor and outdoor venues that can accommodate upwards of 250 guests.  Their rustic ranch-style buildings are emcompassed in rolling emerald green fairways and Audubon protected natural wetlands, abundant with wildlife.
We have been honored, to have assisted Megan and Dominic with their wedding coordination, and we are so looking forward to their wedding day!

When we asked this wonderful couple to tell us " their story", here is what Dominic had to say:

"Megan and I met in college in 2004. Our first week in school was orientation week, and one trip was to a ropes course located at the Sky Tavern hill. One particular obstacle requires two people to climb 70 feet in to the air on opposite sides of a tree log. Once as each person was on either end of log, they must meet at the middle, say their goals for the year, and then return to a small platform where they return to the ground. Megan ended up on the far side of the log/beam while I was on the other end... Unfortunately Megan found they obstacle to rather challenging because the log started swinging back and forth! So rather than travel to the half way point I went across the entire distance to get to her and walk her backwards over the log 70 feet in the air.

7 years later

After Megan's last final for her second to last semester of school, I told her that I was planning a nice night in with just the two of us to celebrate. She had no idea what I was planning. I made her promise to go into the bedroom while I cooked dinner and prepared the house for her surprise. Once dinner was cooking, I laid rose pedals throughout the house and set tea candles around all the counters. We had a romantic candle lit dinner in our dinning room with soft music playing in the background. Once dinner was finished I moved her to the living room where I had setup a massage station to give her a relaxing oil massage. After her massage was nearly done I asked her to move to the couch so that I could work on her feet, and since she was so relaxed from my work, she had no trouble keeping her eyes closed while I went into the office to get the ring. Resting on one knee in front of her, I asked her very calmly if she would marry me when she opened her eyes. She was completely surprised! She had no clue and started crying! While nodding and crying she even called me a "brat" because she was so surprised! But she said yes after she gained control over her happy tears!

Now, the wheels have been set in motion, and we are both happier than ever! Megan just completed yet another of her life goals by teaching English in Korea for a year, and I am working hard to make my goals come true as well!"

Our very best wishes to Megan and Dominic as their lives a joined through marriage, on their very special wedding day.
