Suprina and Esteban- Sneak Peek

Virginia City is a unique little city nestled in the mountains, and is a short drive from Reno and Lake Tahoe. It is full of old world charm and historic character and is a great place for our wonderful couple Suprina and Esteban to tie the knot!


Suprina and Esteban have chosen the beautiful St. Mary's of the Mountains church as their official wedding ceremony location and Piper's Opera House as their reception venue. 

Virginia City is home to a number of beautiful churches reflective of the late 19th century culture. One such church is St. Mary in the Mountains Catholic Church, arguably the most prominent historical structure and institution in Virginia City.  It towers above most of the buildings in the city and is just as beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside. There will not be a dry eye in the cathedral as Suprina and Esteban exchange vows and become husband and wife.

 

 After the ceremony, guests will gather together in Piper's Opera House for the fun-filled reception. Built in the 1880s, Piper’s Opera House attracted famous stars from Europe and the United States and is listed by the League of Historic Theaters. One of the most significant vintage theaters on the West Coast, this stage once welcomed President Grant, Buffalo Bill, Al Jolson and Mark Twain. It's history combined with the beauty truly make Piper's Opera House one of a kind!
