Today, we are featuring our interview with Brandie of B&B Designs, LLC, a full service floral design company, located in the greater Reno-Tahoe area.

 

1.What is your business objective/mission statement?

"Through our attention to detail, B&B Designs will showcase your unique floral vision and bring it to life with our creative artistic touches while providing the perfect floral ambiance for your special day."

2. Where lies your expertise? 

"Our expertise lies in both flowers and art, and therefore I look at each flower arrangement as a work of art."

3. About what aspect of your business are you most passionate?

"We are most passionate about the finished product and bringing the client's vision to life - I want to "wow" the guests and if a bride happens to cry when she sees her wedding bouquet, then I know I have achieved her vision."

4. What regions do you service? 

"We serve Reno, Tahoe, and neighboring cities - willing to travel within a three hour radius and possibly further if a higher floral budget is available."

5. What services do you offer? 

"We offer all flower arrangement needs - bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, aisle and arch decor etc.; set-up and tear down, a consultation, and a detailed proposal/invoice."

6. What is your specialty?  

"We specialize in all  types of floral design - I am very capable of changing styles from elegant, classical, romantic, rustic, vintage, etc."

7. Tell us a bit about "you".

"My name is Brandie Chisholm, I am the owner and lead designer of B&B Designs with a degree in Fine Arts. I have been creating floral art for 16 years and started B&B Designs in 2009. I have been known as a perfectionist who is not afraid of hard work, and continuously challenges myself to grow and get better everyday."

 
8. What awards/honors have you received?

"We have received the Wedding Wire Bride's Choice Awards: 2011 & 2012; Wedding Wire Couple's Choice Awards: 2014 & 2015; The Knot Best of Weddings 2012; Feature in Real Weddings Magazine; Soon to have a feature in The Knot Magazine."

9. What are your business goals for 2015-2016? 

"Our goal is to get couples to realize the importance of flowers for their special day. The flowers are what creates your ambiance and can truly transform your space, "WOWs" your guests, and creates the beautiful elements in your photos."
