Today we are spotlighting Camelot Party Rentals, a local equipment rental company, on our Vendor Spotlight Blog Series.
Camelot Party Rentals objective is described, by the owner, Douglas Barrera, as "your event, our dedication."
Camelot is a one-stop shop for the foundation of all weddings and events. They specialize in tenting, lighting, and helping brides create the most memorable wedding set-up that matches their expectations.
When asked specifically about which aspect do they have the most passion, they said " We love every part of the business and industry, but would say tenting is what sets us apart and gives us the most excitement. Seeing the Transformation of the Lake Tahoe woods when we set up a beautiful clear top tent creates an elegant forest wedding, and that is something we love to be apart of." We get excited too, as we have a Camelot clear top tent going up in the woods, this summer!
Camelot services a very large span, geographically. They cover all of Northern Nevada, Lake Tahoe, Mammoth Lakes, Sierra Mountains, Graeagle, Quincy, Sacramento, and the Bay Area.
They are experts at providing the foundation for all weddings, events, festivals, parties, etc They say there is no event too big or too small. They provide the small things that you may just not have enough of; silverware, napkins, glassware, and dishware, to the large items that will truly set your event apart such as dance floors, tables, tents, and bars.
Camelot's specialty is tenting. No matter where the location is located; woods, hills, slopes, they find ways to make it work!
Douglas Barrera started working for Camelot when he was only 18, washing chairs, doing deliveries and set-ups; and today he can happily say I that he is one of the owners of the company he had been passionate about since the young age of 18. Douglas also has two children who he is extremely grateful for; his son who is currently servicing for our military and a daughter who is actively involved in a traveling soccer team.
Camelot has received many awards through the tenting industry for best set-ups. In 2014 they were honored to be nominated for the Reno/Sparks small business award. They acknowledge that being recognized in the community is a true reward within itself.
In 2015/2016 Camelot hopes to continue to offer the best service and products to all their customers.
