Today we are pleased to feature our interview with Chair 7 Films, in our continuing Vendor Spotlight Blog Series.
What is your objective/mission statement?
The name of our business is Chair7 Films. Our objective/mission statement is to provide high quality cinematography that is simple, clean and tells a powerful story.
Where lies your expertise?
Our expertise lies within the storytelling aspect of wedding cinematography. We develop relationships with our couples so that when it comes down to filming and editing, we have our shots planned out, know what we are going to capture and ultimately know how we are going to edit their wedding film to tell a story.
About what aspect of your business are you most passionate?
We are most passionate about providing a consistent product that makes our couples feel. We want our couples to watch their wedding film, three, five, ten years down the road and bring back those emotions they had and how much love was shared on their special day.
What regions do you service?
Our primary area of service is Reno and Lake Tahoe. We also provide service to surrounding areas including: Sacramento, the Bay Area and Napa before considering areas outlying those regions a destination event.
What services do you offer?
We offer simple, clean wedding cinematography. We offer two film packages to best fit your ideas.
What is your specialty?
Our specialty is being able to take all the pieces from your wedding day and develop a creative short film that captures your personalities, relationship and love for one another. We take great pride in creating a wedding film that you will want to watch over and over and share with friends and family.
Tell us a bit about "you".
My wife and I moved to Reno from Northern California five years ago and have fell in love with everything Reno and Tahoe have to offer. We both have a bachelor degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. My wife majored in journalism and I in art. In January of 2013 we decided to start a video production company named Chair7 Films (there's a great story behind the name- just ask us sometime!). We have met so many great couples, fellow wedding vendors and have built so many relationships throughout our short time as wedding cinematographers. It has been such an amazing adventure and I cannot wait to see what our future holds.
What are your business goals for 2015-2016?
Our goals for 2015-2016 are to establish a presence as one of the top wedding cinematographers in the Reno-Tahoe area and to provide a consistent product that evokes an emotion when watching.
