Christine & Clark~ Sneak Peek

Clark and Christine have been dating nearly 3 years. Both Clark and Christine’s families were starting to get antsy as to when the two would finally make plans to tie the knot. Many family members predicted Clark would propose on Thanksgiving Day with both families present, but he knew that he wanted it to just be the two of them when it happened.

On November 29th, Clark and Christine went on a spontaneous day trip with to San Francisco on with Clark’s family. They spent time exploring the city and watched the annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony in Union Square. While Clark’s family thought that was the perfect opportunity to propose to Christine, Clark did not have the engagement ring with him. He wanted to propose to Christine at Lake Tahoe the next day!

Clark was eager to get back to Reno the same night so he could rest up for the big question the next day. Much to everyone’s dismay, it started snowing on the pass on I-80 and the freeway was shut down. Clark, Christine, and Clark’s parents spent a cold night parked at a Shell gas station. Once the freeway opened up, they did not get home until about 4:00 in the morning. Clark slept all of the next day and his plans to propose in Lake Tahoe were no longer an option. However he couldn’t bear to wait another week, let alone another day to propose to Christine.

Clark decided to go over to Christine’s house with a dozen red roses, a bottle of wine, a sweet card and sneakily put the engagement ring on Christine’s dog, Shasta’s collar. He got down on one knee in the middle of the living room and asked Christine to be his wife. Of course she said, “Yes!!!”

Clark and Christine chose the Landing Resort and Spa as their wedding location. It is a beautiful spot on the lake and seemed like the perfect spot to celebrate their marriage with their friends and family.
