Finding the Right Venue

Once engaged, you may go gown shopping, consider your guest list and check out invitation styles. Buy choosing your wedding venue is one of the most important decisions you need to make. Here's why: Without a venue and a specific date and time, you can't make many other wedding plans.

Finding the perfect venue can be time-consuming, tedious and frustrating. Patience and allowing enough time for the research is required. Until you find the right place, one that fits within budget, capacity and all of the other boxes that are checked off, it's difficult to move beyond in planning.

Getting your venue first is always most helpful. It may take time and a lot of research, but don't worry, you'll find the right one. Once the venue and the date are established, then the many other steps, including the visions and your inspiration boards can begin.

Decide what's most important to you and your spouse-to-be. Picking a venue is a personal choice and usually based on a feeling when you first set foot on the property. Always consider your guest's perception and what you want them to experience on your wedding day. Every venue will have it's own pros and cons. Make sure that you love the pros and that they outweigh the cons.

Once you know what you want, start looking for venues that meet your needs. Couples should love the look and feel of the space itself, and feel an overall connection.

While you need to be mindful about your budget, you may be able to get your dream venue if you consider all of your options,. A wedding is the celebration of a new chapter in a couple's life together, but it is not work going into debt over.
